Covid 19 Day...??

6/25/20 We are at least 100 days into this... So work got CRAZY and the journal just did not happen. I am writing this to try to memorialize ALL that's been going on. For the second half of April I was working 60+ hours a week (from home.)  Meanwhile everything was shut down and I am not sure if I even went out in public. The most our family ventured out was to the grocery store. I also wasn't as connected with the news, and the daily briefings slowed down. The overall numbers in GA stayed pretty low, especially in Coweta county. More people are wearing masks, and some stores, like Costco, require it, but there's a lot of people who don't wear masks. As the numbers slowed down, I think a lot of people began feeling comfortable that this really wouldn't be bad. This week, the numbers across a lot of states have gone up. GA has had 3 of our highest new case days this week. I think the rates of infection is scarier than in the first wave. I hope now that we...

COVID 19 Day 25

4/8/2020 COVID 19 Day 25 OOOOPS... I have been so crazy busy with work, updating this blog fell off the radar. Ok, what's been happening... besides work Seriously I worked all weekend, so much for a reduced schedule... We had not been able to find toilet paper anywhere, so we joined Costco just to get TP. Now we will find out what the buzz is all about. We got a bucket of delicious strawberries from the strawberry farm. We love picking strawberries there, but that's a no-go in the current situation. I haven't left the house in over a week outside of walks. It rained yesterday so more inside time. I found some yeast in the cabinet so I tried out cinnamon swirl break in the bread machine. I'll call it a win, but I didn't know when to take it out, roll it out, and put the cinnamon in so I think I did it too late. It still tastes good, just not as fluffy.
